Can you tell us a little bit about your situation and why you decided to short-term let your home?
I work as a Chief Stewardess onboard private superyachts and work on a 2 month on 2 month off rotation. Having a property in a unique location seems a shame to leave it empty for 6 months of the year. The financial benefit was also a deciding factor to short term let my home as the income covers my mortgage for the year.

As you work abroad, what would you say is the most important aspect of hiring an end-to-end management service?
I believe the key to running a successful short-term holiday let is having 5-star service and communication with the guests. I am often working in remote locations or at sea and it would be impossible for me to respond to guests promptly. I can trust that Guesthoo is going to take care of my guests, answer any questions and have a team of maintenance people available should a problem occur.

What do you think is key to running a successful short-term let?
As mentioned before, communication with the guests is always very important. I wanted to create a space where guests could feel at home in a beautiful bohemian-inspired beach apartment and I like to include luxury amenities for that extra touch.
